I miss my kitty cat. =(
He’s pretty much the only reason why I’m considering going home for 2 days before heading to Phoenix.
I mean, look at that face!

I booked tickets for my sister and I to go down to Phoenix for spring break and check things out. Super excited.
This is the logo for the design studio I’ll be working for. A subtle reminder that I’m actually moving to the desert…

So in about 4 months I am moving to Phoenix. I got a job with the Arizona Republic as a designer. The Republic is owned by Gannett and will be home to a new design studio that will work on about 9 papers out west. I’ll get to design tab covers and features for the Republic and those other papers. It’s actually all pretty exciting, I just can’t believe I’m moving 2,000 miles away from my hometown.
I’m thinking I’m going to start using this Tumblr to talk about the whole transition. There are a lot of things I need to start figuring out. How I’m going to get there, what I’m taking with me, where I’m going to live, who I’m going to live with… and I’ll probably need somewhere to write it all down. So here we go.
And for everyone looking for a job… it’s all about who you know and finding opportunities through your relationships. Julie Elman, I owe you my life.
what will I do with my new earmuffs?
or my winter coats? or my boots?
or my hundreds of blankets?
senior year is so weird.
SO. I think I’m going to start using this again. I’ve got a lot of things I want to keep track of. Tidbits of my life and what I’m doing and job hunting and the last 5 months of my life in Ohio (fingers crossed).
I was thinking to myself that I needed to be writing things down, and then I remembered tumblr existed. So I’ll hopefully be back quite soon when something pops into my mind to put on here.
Something slightly better than this.
I sincerely wish I had time to use my tumblr, because I have a lot of thoughts to be spilled. The hell that is this quarter does not allow me time to do so, and I can only hope that next quarter will be different.
On a positive note, next quarter is spring, meaning it will be warm, and day-to-day weather won’t be such a downer anymore.
