  • So in about 4 months I am moving to Phoenix. I got a job with the Arizona Republic as a designer. The Republic is owned by Gannett and will be home to a new design studio that will work on about 9 papers out west. I’ll get to design tab covers and features for the Republic and those other papers. It’s actually all pretty exciting, I just can’t believe I’m moving 2,000 miles away from my hometown. I’m thinking I’m going to start using this Tumblr to talk about the whole transition. There are a lot of things I need to start figuring out. How I’m going to get there, what I’m taking with me, where I’m going to live, who I’m going to live with… and I’ll probably need somewhere to write it all down. So here we go. And for everyone looking for a job… it’s all about who you know and finding opportunities through your relationships. Julie Elman, I owe you my life.
